My oral presentation topic is the Why the WWII can give so much mental harm to Jewish survivor

The World War Two is known as one of the brutalest war in human history, uncountable booming and killings has upset tens of thoussands of people. During the merciless war, the Nazi had killed millions of Jewish people, only little of them could survive, one of the characters in the novel "a Murder is Announced", Mitizi, was one of the Jewish survivors, she suffered frorm serious mental pressure, she always afraid of being traced by the Nazi, and thought that the Nazi may come back for her, I would like to find out why the WWII can bring such a big harm to Jewish survivor's mental function, I am looking for useful information and hopping to have a detailed presentation, the process is quite satisfactory so far.

Halloween's Afterlife

From: NYTimes.com
Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/04/opinion/04thu4.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

Summary: The writer thinks that the Halloween atmosphere is going to fade out and return into normal in a few days after Halloween, by that time, no Halloween thing will remain, all the decorations will be taken down, all the costumes will be stored for next year, the whole city will return to the usual days.

Opinion: This is the first time I have ever experienced the Halloween in USA, it's amazing, people were in different costumes, having parties, music was everywhere. I love it, but just as what the writter said, everything goes back to normal in a few days time, people focus back on their work again, it's so amazing that human beings can adapt to different atmosphere so quickly, having a party this night, a few hours later they can work seriously in their office cubes, maybe that's the reason why we can lead the world.

Inspector Craddock

If I were inspector Craddock, I think he would write about how annoying the witnesses are. After the murder, Inspector Craddock was sent to handle the case, he had to go to every single witness to ask for details of that horrible night. During the period, Inspector Craddock had to deal with witnesses with different personality, some of the were very polite and easy to talk to, but some of them were hard to deal with, some of them were shocked and weren't able to communicate. I think Inspector Craddock would love to express his feeling in his own diary. I guess he's not going to write about the details of the case because I guess he seperates work and private feeling very well.
