I would like to share a little bit about the character Letitia Blacklock, the owner of the crime scene. Miss Blacklock is a nice old lady, she's about 60year old who always dress up neatly, she is polite yet calm and smart, which makes her even more special in the story. I choose her because she's one of the most important characters in the story, her calm and intellegence also make her a critical helper for the case.
I don't actually admire her, I have only read the begining of the story, I guess a character needs to something more special to make me admire her. I don't think I am similar with her, but there are things that I would like to learn from her. The politeness and the calm of her are two very posotive elements that I want to improve on, and I am working on it.
Though she's a very great character, I think the story will be better if she can change a little bit, she's to calm and decisive, how can a 60yar old lady still be able to stay calm and take control of the whole situation when there is a guy just got killed net to her and she was almost dead too? This is almost impossible. She should be scared and freaked out for the early of the event, I guess that would make the story closer to reality.
The story is very interesting, I can't wait to see what is going to happen on Miss Blocklock ~

A call to higher service
from The Seattle Times, Oct 4th
Summary:
The Gethsemane Lutheran Church has been doing a lot of services for the needed people, provides shelter, free-meal, but they are going to do something bigger. The Gethsemane Lutheran Church is planning to spend 20million dollar on building a community-service center which provides shelter for homeless women and children and 50units of low-income housing.
Opinion:
I choose this topic because I think this is meaningful, the world needs more of these people who would like to spend on the needy rather than self-luxury. I like to do social service, I had been to Thailand to teach the poor, the feeling was great, and I would love to see the building be completed, hopeful a new home for the needy and lead them to God~~~

Report 1 – A Murder Is Announced
The Story “A Murder Is Announced” by Agatha Christie took place in a small English village of Chipping Cleghorn after the World War II. It was a normal Friday morning. But strangely there is a special advertisement on the corner of the local newspaper the Gazette – “A murder is announced and will take place on Friday, October 29th, at Little Paddocks, at 6:30P.M. Friends please accept this, the only intimation.” Most of the people who saw this advertisement thought it is a game party announcement and felt excited about it, but they don’t know a true murder is coming…
I think Agatha Christie’s novels are always fascinating but at the same time it takes a long time to get to the story, this time is not a different one, yet I have read to chapter three, the famous detective Hercule Poirot is still not showing up (I know he’s going to show up because he’s the only detective of Agatha’s novels). Although she starts it with a long beginning, the clues Agatha left about the coming murder already make me feel excited, just like at the end of the first chapter, an innocent girl who’s going to the announced murder sang a song about the event at night,
“It’s a fine murdering day.
And as balmy as May
And the sleuths from the village are gone,
And we’ll all go a’ murdering today!”,
The feeling of peace before the storm is so strong that I can’t imagine how this girl will react to the real murder, and I can’t wait to read the next page now!

Heat from laptop may be toasting skin on your legs
from The Seattle Times, October 4th, 2010
Summary:
Reseachers had found out that the heat generate by laptop can lead to "toasted skin syndrome" if we let a working laptop computer sits on our legs all the time. The "toasted skin syndrome" is an unusal-looking-mottled-skin condition, it may also cause permanent skin darkening, skin cancer or decrease the men's sperm production. It is caused by long term heat exposure of skin, apart from using laptop on the legs, overuse of heating instruments may also lead to "toasted skin syndrom". Some major laptop manufacturing companies has warned buyers to beware of that.
Opinion:
I am a new user to laptop computers, good to hear that early so that I can prevent that from happening on me, but sadly my usual activities also may cause this "toasted skin syndrome". I love sports very much and I always spend my days running and playing under the sun, everyday when I finish my practices or games, my whole body turns into red cause of serious sunburn. Although the news only talks about heat generating machines, I guess sunburn can also be a factor of "toasted skin syndrome", so I guess I would have to be careful with that from now...

A little talk about myself...
My name is Tak-Shing, Tsang, but but at the same time I have a lot of different names: my friends and classmates usually call me Hamo; my teammates and people who think I am a good football player usually call me Hamoss; my catholic name is Luke. Haha don't get confused with them, call me Hamo is fine haha.
I was born in Hong Kong, a little city of China. My family is just a normal family of four, a dad, a mum, an older sister and me, I love them and they certainly love me~ :-)
I can speak Cantonese, Madarin and English, this helped my study when I was in highschool. I would love to take this chance to thank you my English teacher in highschool, she inspired me to think more, to learn more and how to enjoy them. This makes me love the subjects that require peosonal opinion, saddly it also makes me hate subjects that only need good memory.
I love SPORTS!!! I love to play sports, I want to study more about it and make it my career. I played in my highschool's soccer team, I even have a fundermental boxing coach licence. I especially love American Football, that's actually one of the main reasons why I am in Seattle now, I've been playing Football for 3-4 years, enjoy it because it is so different from other sports, the teamwork it requires is far more important than any other sports I know.
English started to be important when I like football, all the information I need to improve are in English, http://www.nfl.com/ became my homepage, the analysis and news on it boosted up my English level, and it's one way to learn English that I would never feel bored.
I don't actually know how my friends feel about me, but there is a few terms that I;ve heard they used to describe me. The first one is 'funny', that should be true, I love to make my friend happy, their smile means a lot to me, and I enjoy it most of the time~~~ The next one is 'cute', I don't get this one, come on, look at me, which part of me looks cute??? I mean....I am 180cm tall, love sports, like R&B music, they are not quite related to 'cute' right??? I just don't get it...
Guys, I don't really know how to tell you who exactly I am, if you really want to know more about me, why not finding it out yourself? I won't bite you for sure hahaha~
