A call to higher service

from The Seattle Times, Oct 4th

Summary:
The Gethsemane Lutheran Church has been doing a lot of services for the needed people, provides shelter, free-meal, but they are going to do something bigger. The Gethsemane Lutheran Church is planning to spend 20million dollar on building a community-service center which provides shelter for homeless women and children and 50units of low-income housing.

Opinion:
I choose this topic because I think this is meaningful, the world needs more of these people who would like to spend on the needy rather than self-luxury. I like to do social service, I had been to Thailand to teach the poor, the feeling was great, and I would love to see the building be completed, hopeful a new home for the needy and lead them to God~~~
